Brief 3: Achatz Pie Company

Brief 3: The Potted Pie

I think that the concept of this design is very strong and because of that the whole brand stands out among another other pie packaging range that I have found. Although the design and logo itself is simple, because it is printed on an everyday black plant pot, the logo goes well and is very effective.

Brief 3: My Pies

"MY-PY" was originally a brand name that came from a project a group was given on the Apprentice a few years ago; this brand was a reflection of a quintessentially British fast food company and they called it My-py. I then came across the name on Behance where a design had used this name and applied it to their own concept; a reflection of the homely nature of home made pies, and the seasons of the ingredients.

Brief 3: Pukka Pies

Pukka pies are a well established pie company, and an example of the competition. I think their branding is simple and representative of the type of food that they provide however I feel the colour and typeface choice doesn't represent quality range food.

This is a project taken from behance, a rebranding of pukka pies where they have kept the same basic colours but made the packaging simpler. Overall I don't feel this new design is very strong.
